CHA-UK Creative Exchanges Weekend

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

As you all know I went to the CHA-UK Creative Exchanges Event in Coventry on Saturday.
What a fabulous event it was we had lots of seminars and some great keynote speakers such as Leonie Pujol, Joanna Sheen, Sara Davies and Pinterest too.

I met lots of lovely retailers, crafters and manufacturers and had an intense weekend of learning.
I would highly recommend this event to designers as it is so informative and I gleaned so much more information to add to what I already knew.  You are never to old to learn something new!

There were Susie Candlin from Cricut, Woodware with the fabulous Zentangle books and pens, Kay Rutter owner of Hougie Crafts too with her boards, books and DVD's!

In my role as eCommerce Manager for Personal Impressions we had a table to showcasing some of our products as well as 5 prizes for the attendees.  On the last day the contents of the contents of our display was also given as prizes too.

After dinner on Saturday we were given a cupcake to decorate with Decopatch paper.
Here is my effort.

I took a workshop taken by the very talented Sara Naumann, we made 2 cards using products from Indigoblu. We were also given a goodie box by them too.

On Sunday it was a full on day of seminars at lunchtime we had the wonderful Leonie give a talk about her journey in the craft world and was so inspirational, I even got my photo taken with her, we have been friends for a number of years now and it was lovely to catch up with her.

In the evening we had a Onesie Party, sorry no photograph of me in a Onesie but oh my we sure had a great evening, we had to decorate our Onesies and they were judged, I went with abstract and had a great evening. Here is a photograph of some of the members in theirs.  We sure did get some strange looks from members of the public staying at the hotel.

Monday was another busy day and it was of course time to say our farewells.

I would like to thank Craig de Souza, Sarah Hurley and Sara Naumann for just a fabulous event.
It was the first event and went like clockwork!
Now I am looking forward to next year!

Thank you for visiting today and I hope you have enjoyed my post!
