Friends Forever

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Well what a fabulous day it has turned out to be today!  The sun is out, the sky is blue and hubby is a happy little bunny!  Two washer loads are done and out on the line and I have my window opened in my craft room and waiting for a canvas to dry before I can decorate it.

Today I would like to share a canvas I made earlier in the week for our weekly challenge in our Mad Crafters Giggle Facebook Group.  I so enjoyed getting inky with this one.

Recipe

1.  Painted the canvas first with clear Gesso from Liquitex.
2.  I then stippled Sparkle Medium in Blue Sapphire over the whole of the canvas, once this was dry I used Imagination Crafts Flourishes Mask and PanPastels Magenta to add detail. I then went over the entire canvas with Distress Ink Chipped Sapphire
3.  The butterflies are from Sheena Douglass' Paint Fusion Butterfly stamps set and painted with Pebeo Paints.
4. I added two silver corners and an assortment of flowers and leaves along one side.
5. To finish off I have added a sentiment and pearl swirls as butterfly trails.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Stampin for the Weekend - Monochrome
Aud Sentiments Challenge #81 - Sentiment "Friend"

A good crafting day today, got a lot of crafting done and dusted and a couple of other project ideas written down so I have plenty to keep me going this weekend.  I love it when my ideas start to gel and I know what I am doing LOL!

Anyway here is one of my ideas that has been itching to be made into a card!

Recipe

1.  8 x 8 white square card
2. First layer is white card which I have designed using Imagination Craft Apple Blossom Stencil and PanPastel Violet Tint.  To set the PanPastel I have sprayed Spray and Sparkle Iridescent spray.
3. I then mat and layered the topper (this is preprinted and designed by Lavinia Stamps) onto Purple pearlscent card.
4.  On the topper I have stamped in Memento Ink London Fog the rabbits, I then stamped the fairy with VersaMark and used WOW Magical Mauve embossing powder.  The leaves were embossed using WOW Sparkling Snow.  I wrapped white and gold ribbon around the topper before layering.
5. I wrapped white lace along the bottom and added 3 buttons, a butterfly was added to the topper and a sentiment to finish off the card.
