Altered Spice Rack

Good Morning Crafty Friends, Followers and Visitors

Well September here and not long before I go away on holiday.

Today I am sharing an altered spice rack which I showed in my Ustream Class last Saturday for Gone Artsy.

The rack has been painted with a layer of Pebeo white gesso, then a layer of blush pink acrylic paint.
On the back I have added a sheet of Graphic 45 Botanical Tea.
Once the paint was dry I sanded it back and then dry brushed gold iridescent paint.

Each of the bottles have had embossed copy paper adhered and then painted with blush pink paint.
Once dry I then added the rose lace from Gone Artsy along with the leaf pearl trim, I then gave the bottles another coat of paint. Once this was dry I then dry brushed gold iridescent paint to highlight.

The lids have had embossed copier paper adhered then painted blush pink.
I added the clock cabachons from Gone Artsy then, pearl trim around the lid.
To finish off I dry brushed gold iridescent paint.
